Clothespin Flowers

Clothespin flowers: extremely cute, extremely easy.  I put them on bookshelves, in small vases, in jars...they pretty much go anywhere.
You'll need two things:

  • a clothespin
  • 3 pieces of fabric scraps, about 3 in x 3 in
1. Place the 3 pieces of fabric on top of each other, with the corners in different directions.
2. Pinch the fabric so as to create a flower petals-like object:

3. Clip the clothespin to the bottom of your flower whilst maintaining the flower shape. Don't be too perfect about it or you'll end up stuck on this step for eternity.
Guess what?  YOU just made a craft.  It only took you three seconds, but it counts.  Now you can wow everyone on Pinterest.  (And send them here for more crafty-crafts for the craft-challenged)

Notes:
  • thicker fabrics are harder to pin

Tee-hee, they stand up, too.
